The heart of the new Monte EP is the track Nuj, featuring the Abuelo Reynaldo, an Indigenous elder and leader from the community of la Chorrera, in the Colombian Amazon. Nuj samples a traditional Indigenous chant mixed over electronic music. The message is a call to action; we must protect and respect Mother Nature. Purchasing this track directly supports Abuelo Reynaldo, his community and their work to preserve the Amazon and its cultural heritage.
